“The continuing saga of the Corleone crime family tells the story of a young Vito Corleone growing up in Sicily and in 1910s New York; and follows Michael Corleone in the 1950s as he attempts to expand the family business into Las Vegas, Hollywood and Cuba. “
Trivia: The shooting script included a scene with an older, diabetic Michael talking with an 18-year-old Anthony but this scene was cut. The discarded scene also included Connie saying that Fredo drowned in the lake. These ideas were eventually used in The Godfather: Part III (1990).
Goofs: Crew or equipment visible: When Vito is driving and Fanucci hops onto the car, another car passes between the camera and Vito’s car – Coppola and the camera can be seen reflected in the car’s window.
